CT MANDATES FOR DENTAL PROFESSIONALS

Sec. 20-111-1 thru 10 of the CT Regulations for dental hygienists, require 16 contact hours (1 hour = 50 min.) of face-to-face instruction (not home study), directly applicable to patient care, each two year monitoring period (odd year) effective on licensee’s birth month. New regulations regarding continuing education for dental hygienists in Connecticut are being developed and change is anticipated beginning in 2009. Email questions about other states.
